I listened in to Luke's sharing on the importance of hearing health on 22 September, and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Luke is a natural when it comes to public speaking - he carries himself with charisma and wisdom. Services not bad, but I feel they may not be able to do all procedures equally well. They recommended one of the procedures to me, but I was not very satisfied with the result. I feel the procedure could have been done better. If you are planning to come here, maybe better to do some research first and choose carefully which procedure to do. Or just go with what they recommend…

I was fortunate to attend a talk on hearing loss & its side effects for those who have serious impaired hearing but is unaware. This would lead to eventual demential.
The talk detailed d 5 main causes of hearing loss.
I went for hearing test at Hearing Room & was diagnosed with mild to moderate hearing loss - not sensitive to high pitch sounds.
I will now be more alert to my surroundings to keep myself safe.
Will have a repeat hearing test in 9-12 mths & invest in hearing aid if my hearing decreases drastically.
The hearing aids are rather dainty and are not obvious.
Highly recommend having a hearing test done for those who tend to keep asking others to repeat their speech.
One's hearing is also badly affected when exposed to frequent loud noises.

Highkey goated. WhatsApped them and got an amazing response time. The lady on the phone was super patient, friendly, and helpful throughout. The place was also really convenient and easy to find. The instructions they sent were super clear and easy to understand, so finding the place was easy. It’s also located in a really nice area, which was a nice bonus.
Luke was very informative and nice, and taught me a lot about ear care and future cleaning tips. The whole cleaning session was fast, informative, comfortable, and very well done. Will definitely continue coming here whenever I need my ears cleaned

Luke gave a super informative and highly engaging talk on hearing loss and the different hearing aids available. This was useful for me to understand not just the types of hearing aids that are currently available in the market, but also what types of hearing loss there are. As someone working with the older population, this is especially useful as we often get family members asking us about hearing loss and where they can seek help.
Luke was also very patient in answering the many questions that participants of the talk had at the end. There was no rush to ‘get it done and over with’ vibe, as everyone got their questions answered. I’m happy to send anyone with queries on hearing loss, hearing aids, and hearing aid suitability/adjustments to The Hearing Room:)

Kenny was very professional taking all steps to understand comprehensively my problems with hearing aids. He then prepared a test kit for me to test its effectiveness in real situations arooud the office block. It works well though with limitations not being the latest product. He offered to conduct another round when the latest product is launched in the next 1-2 months. I am looking forward to better hearing days then when the new product is tuned to my configuration.

As someone without much knowledge about ear care, I initially thought my ear was blocked with earwax and came in expecting to have an earwax cleaning. However, after Dr. Kenny carefully checked my ears, he explained that they were actually clean and advised that there was no need to proceed with the cleaning.
I really appreciate their honesty and professionalism. There was absolutely no hard selling or pressure to do any unnecessary services, and I was only charged the consultation fee.
It was a very pleasant and reassuring experience. I would definitely recommend Dr. Kenny and the team to anyone looking for honest and professional care!

Visited the Hearing Room this morning after experiencing a few days of difficulty in hearing. Discussed my concerns with Senior audiologist Kenny Tan who was very helpful in deciding that I should first have the wax in my ears cleared out before seeing if any further treatment was needed. He also reviewed my hearing test report completed a year earlier. His conclusion was that my hearing was normal and that the drainage of the wax from my ears was all that was needed. I left hearing better and feeling assured by Mr Tan that there was no cause for concern. His gentle manner is well appreciated.

I had a blocked ear after swimming. The wax did not clear even after Cerumol drops. Luckily The Hearing Room came to the rescue. Kenny resolved the issue in no time. When I first came to the hearing aid centre to do the hearing test. I being advised to get a pair of hearing aid. Judging from my need and the price, I decided to get a pair of hearing aid to raise my hearing quality. After using it, the great benefits is; I can listen clearly most of the conversation, unlike previous time only listen partially. Brought my 95 yr-old mum to the Hearing Room recently, recommended by a church friend. She has never clean her ear wax throughout her life and never ever seen a ear doctor although she has hearing problem. She does not want to see any doctor. Was met by Kenny who was very patient and gentle with her. She has a low threshold of pain. After removing some wax it was found that there was a lot of wax build up over the years. My mum did not want to continue as she was afraid of the pain. Actually it was just a little discomfort. So Kenny referred us to an ENT doctor. We thanked Kenny for explaining my mum's ears complexity and helping us to find a solution. Thanks to him, my mum has both her ears cleaned up and hopefully able to regain her hearing gradually.

This ear-wax removal experience was very professionally carried out. I wasn't expecting the audiologist Faith to also flush my left ear as I only prepared by applying ear-drops on my right which was giving me issues for 4 days already. I'd recommend any one who has issues with their ear(s) to make their way to The Hearing Room.

I’d never had something like this happen before, so I was a bit nervous coming in. One of my ears was completely blocked with earwax and I honestly couldn’t hear anything on that side. TBH I was very skeptical about using water to flush out my earwax. But it became so bad I was almost unable to hear from my left ear. So I decided to give it a shot.
The “earigation” process was very interesting. You feel a warm jet into your ear canal for a minute or two. What was truly surprising was what came out! Black thick chunks sitting inside there for months preventing me from hearing, were now swimming in the pool of water.
The first words that came to me after my more severely blocked ears cleared was “Wow I never knew I spoke so loudly!” I realised I had been loud like deaf elderly folks cos of my choked ear canals. Highly recommend to anyone who has earwax issues preventing them from hearing properly. Mine was made worse cos of my wet and oily earwax, and years of trying to clear them using cotton swabs.

The first words that came to me after my more severely blocked ears cleared was “Wow I never knew I spoke so loudly!” I realised I had been loud like deaf elderly folks cos of my choked ear canals. Highly recommend to anyone who has earwax issues preventing them from hearing properly. Mine was made worse cos of my wet and oily earwax, and years of trying to clear them using cotton swabs.

The Hearing Room provides excellent service and they response well when you tell them of any issue with your hearing aids. Their after sales service is prompt and professional. I am extremely happy with their service.
However, my new hearing aids had to be replaced in less than a year. The Hearing Room immediately gave me a temporary replacement. A few weeks later, they gave me a new set.
Recently, my hearing aids gave problems again. The Hearing Room immediately gave me a temporary set while my set was sent for repair.
In summary, I am satisfied with the professional service provided by The Hearing Room. As for the German product, there is room for improvement.

Exceptional care and service! Kenny were incredibly patient and attentive — never rushed — and he explained each step of the evaluation and fitting in a calm, respectful way that made my Grandpa feel comfortable during the consultation. She was friendly and helpful. She could easily have performed the removal at my request but dissuaded me from an unnecessary procedure and expense. I found the place online and had no prior idea what kind of facility it is. A lot of places these days offer “treatment” packages but there was no pushiness or sales tactic. Their main business is to provide hearing-related solutions, not make fast buck with quick fixes. I highly recommend this place and will make an appointment for my mom to take a hearing test, if I can convince her she needs one. My husband and I visited The Hearing Room for earwax removal, but it turned out our ears were actually very clean! Despite that, the team was incredibly friendly and took the time to explain how earwax can build up over time, the best ways to clean our ears, and the signs to look out for when professional help may be needed. Fantastic service from start to finish! Very easy to book, and the specialist was on time, polite, and clearly highly experienced. The ear cleaning was supposed to happen but it didn't as the Dr recommended me to not do it as my was not as bad as it looks so he just did the consultation and gave me some cleaning advice which was good and helped me to save a bit. Nestled in the corner of the 3rd Fl (03-21) of the Adelphi, the Hearing Room are a group of audiologists who are not just experts in hearing but also practical experts who genuinely can connect with people to promote good hearing. My thanks to Luke who patiently explained to me their services clearly and succinctly of which are also transparent and fair for a private practice. I particularly liked Faith's service for my mother which was patient, kind, and thorough even though my mum could hardly hear! The audiologist even gently and patiently led her down to the shops and the streets in and around The Adelphi to test her hearing with different hearing aids. A special shout out again to Ms Faith Long for her excellent customer service provided for my mum.
Needless to say, my mum's hearing improved by leaps and bounds just from the cleaning alone (I will spare you from the pics of the ear wax that came out from her ear wash). I am extremely thankful that my mum is now able to hear and converse better, crucial to her social interaction and mental wellbeing. I went for the earwax removal via irrigation. The practitioner showed me the inside of my ear canal before and after the irrigation, and explained about how my earwax was impacted inside the ear canal.
The whole process(both ears water irrigation) took around 15-20 minutes only and it was very fast. It could probably differ based on the complexity of your earwax buildup and whether you had previously used ear drops like cerumol(i used olive oil drops).
I was grateful for the cleared up ear canal and could hear the difference immediately after. It was a good experience worth the money.

Response was swift even though it was after office hours. Our 15 yr old daughter had her ears blocked for a few days & obviously this affected her hearing. So we promptly made appointment for ear cleaning services. The procedure was very straightforward. Faith was gentle & very considerate - she ensured the water was warm enough & if my daughter was comfortable with the water pressure. Overall it was a pleasant experience & we'll definitely be back! I had taken my mum to various hearing specialists across Australia, thinking the cost of purchasing one might be cheaper there.
