When I first came to the hearing aid centre to do the hearing test. I being advised to get a pair of hearing aid. Judging from my need and the price, I decided to get a pair of hearing aid to raise my hearing quality. After using it, the great benefits is; I can listen clearly most of the conversation, unlike previous time only listen partially. Brought my 95 yr-old mum to the Hearing Room recently, recommended by a church friend. She has never clean her ear wax throughout her life and never ever seen a ear doctor although she has hearing problem. She does not want to see any doctor. Was met by Kenny who was very patient and gentle with her. She has a low threshold of pain. After removing some wax it was found that there was a lot of wax build up over the years. My mum did not want to continue as she was afraid of the pain. Actually it was just a little discomfort. So Kenny referred us to an ENT doctor. We thanked Kenny for explaining my mum's ears complexity and helping us to find a solution. Thanks to him, my mum has both her ears cleaned up and hopefully able to regain her hearing gradually.

This ear-wax removal experience was very professionally carried out. I wasn't expecting the audiologist Faith to also flush my left ear as I only prepared by applying ear-drops on my right which was giving me issues for 4 days already. I'd recommend any one who has issues with their ear(s) to make their way to The Hearing Room.

I’d never had something like this happen before, so I was a bit nervous coming in. One of my ears was completely blocked with earwax and I honestly couldn’t hear anything on that side. This was the first place I came to, and I’m really glad I did. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, and they sorted it out so quickly. The moment they finished, I could hear again what a relief! TBH I was very skeptical about using water to flush out my earwax. But it became so bad I was almost unable to hear from my left ear. So I decided to give it a shot.
The “earigation” process was very interesting. You feel a warm jet into your ear canal for a minute or two. What was truly surprising was what came out! Black thick chunks sitting inside there for months preventing me from hearing, were now swimming in the pool of water.
The first words that came to me after my more severely blocked ears cleared was “Wow I never knew I spoke so loudly!” I realised I had been loud like deaf elderly folks cos of my choked ear canals. Highly recommend to anyone who has earwax issues preventing them from hearing properly. Mine was made worse cos of my wet and oily earwax, and years of trying to clear them using cotton swabs.
Kenny and Luke were very patient and assuring and the process is quick and painless. Feel like a new man, seriously.

The Hearing Room provides excellent service and they response well when you tell them of any issue with your hearing aids. Their after sales service is prompt and professional. I am extremely happy with their service.
However, my new hearing aids had to be replaced in less than a year. The Hearing Room immediately gave me a temporary replacement. A few weeks later, they gave me a new set.
Recently, my hearing aids gave problems again. The Hearing Room immediately gave me a temporary set while my set was sent for repair.
In summary, I am satisfied with the professional service provided by The Hearing Room. As for the German product, there is room for improvement.

Exceptional care and service! The ear cleaning was supposed to happen but it didn't as the Dr recommended me to not do it as my was not as bad as it looks so he just did the consultation and gave me some cleaning advice which was good and helped me to save a bit. Nestled in the corner of the 3rd Fl (03-21) of the Adelphi, the Hearing Room are a group of audiologists who are not just experts in hearing but also practical experts who genuinely can connect with people to promote good hearing. My thanks to Luke who patiently explained to me their services clearly and succinctly of which are also transparent and fair for a private practice. I particularly liked Faith's service for my mother which was patient, kind, and thorough even though my mum could hardly hear! The audiologist even gently and patiently led her down to the shops and the streets in and around The Adelphi to test her hearing with different hearing aids. A special shout out again to Ms Faith Long for her excellent customer service provided for my mum.
Needless to say, my mum's hearing improved by leaps and bounds just from the cleaning alone (I will spare you from the pics of the ear wax that came out from her ear wash). I am extremely thankful that my mum is now able to hear and converse better, crucial to her social interaction and mental wellbeing. Best of all, her hearing is now further enhanced with the fitted hearing aid which was ready in less than a week! I went for the earwax removal via irrigation. The practitioner showed me the inside of my ear canal before and after the irrigation, and explained about how my earwax was impacted inside the ear canal.
The whole process(both ears water irrigation) took around 15-20 minutes only and it was very fast. It could probably differ based on the complexity of your earwax buildup and whether you had previously used ear drops like cerumol(i used olive oil drops).
I was grateful for the cleared up ear canal and could hear the difference immediately after. It was a good experience worth the money.

Response was swift even though it was after office hours. Our 15 yr old daughter had her ears blocked for a few days & obviously this affected her hearing. So we promptly made appointment for ear cleaning services. The procedure was very straightforward. I had taken my mum to various hearing specialists across Australia, thinking the cost of purchasing one might be cheaper there. I chanced upon the Hearing Room and when I discovered their What's App number, I contacted them immediately. Luke and Kenny were very helpful from the start with my research journey.
